Annual Dinner 2024

The Guild Annual Dinner will be held on Saturday 24th February at Leicester Cricket Club. Please see the poster for more details.

Annual Dinner Will be held at Leicestershire County Cricket Club On Saturday 24th February 2024 at 7 for 7.30pm £39 per head Please send names, menu choices, payment and an indication of who you would like to sit with to secretary@leicesterdg.org.uk by 14th February. Cheques should be made payable to LDGCBR or contact secretary/treasurer to make a bank transfer. Menu Roasted Tomato and Basil Soup with Herb Croutons (GF Vegan) (home cooked slow roasted tomatoes and fresh basil drizzle) Duo of Melon (GF Vegan) Crushed pineapple, strawberry coulis (cantaloupe and honeydew melon fanned with a fresh pineapple compote and a strawberry coulis) Chicken Liver Pate with Red onion marmalade, melba toast (homemade pate with brandy and cream) *** Supreme of Chicken (GF) with White Wine cream sauce (Pan seared chicken breast oven roasted with a creamy white sauce) Salmon wrapped in filo pastry, water cress sauce (GF no pastry) (6oz fresh salmon fillet wrapped with crispy filo and glazed with butter ) Mediterranean tart, Provencal sauce (Vegan) (short crust pasty with roasted Mediterranean vegetable) All served with herb buttered new potatoes and fresh garden vegetables. *** Lemon Tart (GF) with clotted cream Chantilly and raspberries (sweet pastry case filled with a homemade zingy lemon curd) Double chocolate brownie (GF Vegan) Caramel sauce (white and dark chocolate chips in a gooey brownie) Cheese plate, Selection of cheese, grapes, celery and crackers (GF) Fresh Ground Cafetiere Coffee “Red Fox” Mints Please note that the GF options with be adapted for dietary requirements
