The Education and Recruitment Committee is comprised of members from all across the Guild, ranging from people who learnt to ring in recent years, to those with decades of ringing and teaching experience. The role of the committee is to be a central hub for developing ringing ability, and resources for recruitment, as well as proactively helping to improve ringing within the Guild by putting on courses and workshops.
The members of the committee are:

|Secretary:||Rebecca Odames||Leicester District|
|Other members:||Mick Angrave||Hinckley District|
|Margie Brimacombe||Hinckley District|
|Lewis Benfield||Leicester District/School of Bellringing|

The Education Committe runs courses periodically, allowing students to concentrate on a particular aspect of ringing. These are usually day courses, but we have a weekend course which is usually held in September.
The Committe has also been facilitating courses about how to teach bellringing, run by The Association of Ringing Teachers. To find out more about ART courses see the ART webpages here.
