Saturday 28th March – St Margaret’s Leicester

A qualifying round for the National 12 Bell Striking Contest is being held at St Margaret’s Leicester on Saturday 28th March. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear some excellent ringing, with the qualifying ringing starting at 11.30am and going on until 4.10pm.

Volunteers are needed to help make the day run smoothly, with plenty of refreshments needed to supply the troops, from breakfast butties available from 9.45am, to lunch, and of course a steady supply of tea/coffee and cakes throughout the day. Please contact Carol at secretary@leicesterdg.org.uk if you would like to volunteer – even if you can only pop in for an hour, any help will be welcome. Volunteers will be needed throughout the day from setting up at 9.30am to clearing away by 7pm.
